Announcing the Next Phase: Shadow Mainnet

Skate is thrilled to unveil Shadow Mainnet, the first phase in our Skate Mainnet rollout. Effective from today, users will be able to interact with Stateless apps live on Skate across different blockchain VMs.

Previously on our Skateboard Workshop live on Nollie Testnet, we demonstrated how users across different chains and VMs can experience a unified, streamlined single app experience.

Now, with Shadow Mainnet, we’re taking this one step further by introducing a decentralised trust engine that secures all Stateless applications by launching:

1. Our Hub Chain live on Mainnet.
2. Our Preconfirmation AVS live on Eigenlayer Mainnet.
3. Our First Stateless Pilot, Enabling Polymarket on Ton.

Skate Hub Chain Live

The Skate Hub Chain is now live, serving as the core processing unit for our Stateless app model. It operates as an Ethereum L2, utilizing dual data availability solutions through Avail and EigenDA to enhance scalability and resilience.

The Hub Chain manages and hosts the unified state and core logic for all connected periphery chains and VMs, including EVM, TonVM, and SolanaVM. This setup enables applications to run seamlessly across multiple blockchain environments while maintaining a consistent state and logic layer, ensuring efficient and interoperable cross-chain operations.

Skate Preconfirmation AVS

Another key component of this launch is the deployment of our preconfirmation AVS, which is now live on Eigenlayer mainnet. Built using Othentic’s tech stack, Skate’s AVS is crucial to Skate’s Stateless infrastructure, ensuring secure, publicly verifiable, and fast finality for all callbacks processed by Stateless applications.

The importance of the preconfirmation AVS:

1. Decentralized source of truth: It verifies all outgoing task data from the TaskBox. This ensures that tasks executed by the Skate Executor network on peripheral chains are always valid.
2. Cryptoeconomic Security: It ensures that Executors act honestly and commit to executing the intents they pick up.
3. Fast Finality: All intents processed on Skate can be considered finalised once verified by the AVS, enabling fast finality of crosschain intents.

In simple terms, our AVS ensures that everything processed through Skate’s Stateless infrastructure is fast, secure and trustworthy.

Introducing the First Stateless App on Skate: Polymarket Pilot

We are excited to announce the launch of our first Stateless app pilot, enabling Polymarket on TON. This integration allows millions of Telegram users on the TON blockchain to interact directly with Polymarket, a leading prediction market hosted on Polygon, without the need for bridging. Skate’s Stateless design pattern enables the same application to operate seamlessly across different VMs, such as TON and Polygon, ensuring a unified experience for users regardless of their blockchain environment.

This pilot marks the beginning of a broader vision for Skate. We plan to expand this solution to additional chains like Solana and EVM-based chains such as Mantle, showcasing how Skate’s Stateless infrastructure can unify application development and make powerful dApps accessible across various blockchain ecosystems.
